Feedback using the SketchFlow Player
Authoring is only one half of the SketchFlow equation. SketchFlow projects are packaged in Expression Blend and then available for playback in the SketchFlow player. The SketchFlow player runs inside of a web browser and is available for anyone to use. However, they must have the Silverlight 3 plug-in installed.

Within the SketchFlow Player the client (used generically in this sense) can navigate through the different screens of a project using the Navigate panel. The Navigate panel is designed to allow clients to navigate without necessarily interacting with the user interface. In our example, there are two possible results when a user submits a form: a successful submission and an unsuccessful submission.

Using the Navigate panel allows the client to see the two different screens by clicking them.



Clients can view a screen by clicking on it within the Navigate panel.

The SketchFlow Player allows clients to draw on the surface of screens using the Pencil tool. Additionally, clients can use the feedback section for additional or explanatory notes. This feedback can then quickly be incorporated into the original SketchFlow project by the author.



The feedback panel allows clients to make
notes associated with a particular page.



SketchFlow includes pencil, highlighter, and eraser tools, allowing clients to draw on the prototype.

Feedback in Expression Blend
You will now investigate a screen that has feedback. Note that screens with feedback are indicated with a light bulb icon.

1. Double-click the checkout screen. The checkout screen appears.
2. Choose Window > Feedback to show the Feedback panel.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Click the light bulb icon to see that any feedback can be visible or invisible.
   Once you have the feedback, you can make the changes using the tools in Expression Blend. In this example, it looks like the word ‘Product’ is to be added to the button and some additional changes are requested for the monetary section of the checkout.
4. Close the previous project.
